SLC results: School claims topper

Arun Kalakoti of Balkalyan Vidya Mandir of Biratnagar secured 94.9 percent in this year’s School Leaving Certificate (SLC) exam, which makes him a primary contender for the year’s topper. With 759 aggregate marks scored in eight subjects totalling 800 marks, the school has claimed Arun is this year’s SLC board topper. The 16-year-old has scored 90 plus marks in seven subjects with 99 each in Compulsory Mathema-tics and Optional Computer Science. Rabin Dahal, the school principal, said Arun was among the best students in school.
